Fall Break! Oct 8-11! Traveled with Habitat for Humanity to Vineland, New Jersey to assist with the construction of a house! Throughout the world, people live in inadequate housing, and Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to providing decent, affordable homes for those in need. We provided community service to our neighbors in need in the local community and beyond, by assisting in every part of the construction of a home from the demolition of old dilapidated structures to the building and painting of a new home!

Attended the Kent County Democratic Central Committee Annual Kennedy-King Dinner with the Washington College Democrats Chapter! The Keynote Speaker was Maryland State Delegate and former Maryland Governor candidate, Heather Mizeur! It was a great experience to have the opportunity to be in the presence of elected officials! I was even honored with having to speak!! I felt right at home with fellow Democrats!

Went on a road trip to visit Baltimore, MD for the first time to catch the Orioles vs Yankees baseball game! Went with my brothers sponsored by the student events board! Ate crab cakes with crab fries and Dippin’ Dots! The U.S. Navy was present and flying Blue Angels! Had great seats for $8 bucks! Let’s just say being a Washington College student has its benefits!
